They young try to beat the heat by going to the beach. The old are stuck in their own homes with nowhere to go and nobody to visit them. Well, at least lately, authorities have recognized that they have a huge case of emergency on their hands when senior citizens start dying. Many of them are succumbed to heat exhaustion or heat wave. They just fall dead wherever they are in the house. The East and Midwest of the United States are being tormented. That is after the West of the U.S., especially California has recorded record high temperatures that took the lives of both people and animals. To understand what is going on, Eric Klinenberg, wrote, "Heat Wave: A Social Autopsy of Disaster in Chicago," after the 1995 heat wave.
